University of Adelaide Biophotonics & Bioimaging Laboratories

The refurbishment of two seperate facilities on the ground floor of the MLS building created an opportunity to bring separate research teams together through several shared spaces. The Biophotonics facility provides students and researchers a space to look into the interaction of light and matter using lasers and associated equipment. The Bioimaging facility provides an environment where students can see and use state of the art equipment and learn from staff with specialised knowledge. Both spaces have been designed to facilitate future growth and potential change in research use.
