Torrens University Australia, Adelaide Campus
Wakefield Street, Adelaide
This 24 hour educational facility encompasses a holistic activation approach, maximising fluid, open-plan circulation, enabling centrally located learning spaces and exhibiting the University’s activates through permeable shopfronts. The contextual relationship of the built form is enhanced through the exposure of the existing building fabric, serving as a constant visual reminder of the building’s state heritage. MPH Architects worked closely with Torrens University Australia (TUA) to insert their new campus within the historic building previously known as the Menz Biscuit Factory, built 1878.
